1986-2011 Helping Sonoma County Home owners for 25 years Fountain Grove Mortgage (FGM) was established in 1986 to service the first subdivisions located in the Fountain Grove area, thus the name, Fountain Grove Mortgage (FGM). FGM worked out of an office in Fountain Grove and after initial subdivisions ending in the early 90’s we moved to 1325 College Avenue, Santa Rosa. There we sat for 14 years doing the best job for our clients. Then it hit…. To say the real estate lending environment has been in a constant change over the last 6 years would be an understatement. FGM has been in a constant metamorphosis’; we moved locations 3 times and in March of 2010 joined American Pacific Mortgage Company as a branch. Our goal throughout the changes has been focused on educating ourselves on the new opportunities that can help our current, past and future clients. The estimate of anywhere’s from 60-80% of the mortgage professionals from 2005 have left the industry. The exodus has been a combination of new licensing requirements from both Federal and State agencies, and the inability to keep up. We have. We are local and licensed.
